Young People & Families & Carers
Are you a child or young person?
If something is worrying you or making you scared and you’re not sure if it is abuse, it is important to talk to someone you trust and we can help.
Children and young people may be hurt by an adult or another young person in many ways. Abuse can be any of the following:
- Physical Abuse
- Emotional Abuse
- Sexual Abuse
West Berkshire Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (WB LSCB) is a group of professionals who are responsible for working together to ensure the safety of, and promote the needs of children and young people.
For a free and confidential service, you can contact ChildLine by phone, email, text or via instant messaging through their website. To speak to somebody, please call: 0800 1111 or visit the ChildLine website.
