The West Berkshire Local Safeguarding Children Board provides a range of multi agency safeguarding training for professionals, volunteers, foster carers and all those working with children and young people or in services affecting the safety and welfare of children in West Berkshire.
The West Berkshire training reflects new learning and recommendations from national serious case reviews, learning from audits, WB LSCB Striving for Excellence priorities, child deaths and changes in legislation, guidance and best practice both nationally and locally. This ensures that West Berkshire’s professionals are equipped with the knowledge and skills to safeguard children and young people.
The West of Berkshire ethos is that our training is multi agency, providing professionals with a vital opportunity to learn from each other and with each other; ensuring that professionals work together and share information within the safeguarding process.
